She agreed, told, showed and ceased to be an enemy and a hindrance for us.īut at the same time, the vampire did not drink anyone's blood, and the colleagues of the traitor-thief did not react to what had happened - they did not say anything, did not take offense and did not give him a brazen face. The important thing here is how much charisma and specific skills are pumped - persuasion, intimidation and deception.Īs you can see, the short-legged thief in my party noticed that the lady who got in our way is a vampire (her mouth is in blood, it's hard not to guess!), And offered to solve her problem: they say, let him drink the blood of our comrades and tell you how to get to the necromancer. In this case, the game, as in all other cases, rolls the dice and checks the chance of success with words, not fists. This way we can save time, potions and nerves when we face strong enemies. There is also non-linearity, but mostly at the standard level - to persuade the enemy into a deal and peace negotiations in order to avoid a massacre, or still immediately get into a fight. This raises the reputation in their eyes, and the higher it is, the lower the prices and the greater the range of merchants of this faction. For example, representatives of different houses and factions are asked to bring them the valuables we found during our dangerous journey. There are interesting situations, but the story is mostly linear, quests are clear and simple, and side quests are rare and mostly primitive. Not that these are just logs - the heroes sometimes communicate, say something, even try to joke, but this is still at the initial level for old-school party RPGs. Characters can be created or selected already prepared, but in any case they are not very memorable. Yes, the story has its own intrigues, but from the point of view of the plot, characters, quests, this, of course, is not a killer and not a competitor to Baldur's Gate III. And first of all, a strange artifact leads a powerful necromancer to the fortified castle. Therefore, the crown is fearfully hoisted back, and our heroes decide to follow where she herself drags them. And he turns out to be almost alive and is clearly looking for something. If you remove it, then the owner of the headdress will feel, to put it mildly, bad, the artifact will stop working and be useful. The crown naturally turns out to be cursed. Well, when we return for the scalps, we find a strange magical crown, which is draped over the head of one of the heroes and torpedoes the story into a more intriguing direction. Then the members of the Council ask to bring the heads of these lizards, because their existence has long been considered a myth, an invention. Moreover, there are many upright lizards among the bodies, which, in fact, attacked the outpost. He offers to check the outpost, where our heroes naturally discover mountains of corpses and rare survivors. Solasta: Crown of the Magister follows a typical group of adventurers who gather in a tavern before meeting with a senior employer from the Council. What is the Solasta is really good and what is not? And not all of these comparisons were in favor of the brainchild of Friv5Online Games Studios. This is also a party RPG with turn-based battles and a role-playing system according to the rules of the fifth edition of D&D, namely under the Dungeons and Dragons SRD 5.1 Ruleset license.
